25 years ago today, on the 4th March 2000 (we're going by Japan's current date here), the legendary PS2 was released. God, we're old.

The successor to the already wildly popular PlayStation, the PS2 would go on to sell a staggering 160 million units over the course of its life cycle. It's still the best-selling video game console of all time, with only the Nintendo Switch close to surpassing its record at the time of writing.
