Following a busy February for Xbox with the release of Avowed, March is looking a little quieter for the team, with no major first-party releases currently set to launch this month. However, Compulsion Games' South of Midnight is coming in April - and we want to know if you're excited for the next big release from Microsoft. As you probably saw, we wrote up an extensive preview of the team's follow-up to We Happy Few last month, and came away mightily impressed by what we played. The jury's still out on the full version of South of Midnight for sure, but our overall thoughts from just a chunk of the game have us incredibly excited for the full release over here at PX HQ. Capcom’s storied history is commonly associated with series like Street Fighter and Resident Evil, but it’s Monster Hunter which is on track to eventually become the Japanese video game company’s best-selling IP. Over the past two decades, this larger-than-life series has evolved into an unstoppable force thanks to its increasingly widespread appeal, and now Monster Hunter Wilds delivers perhaps the most inviting iteration yet. If you are a first timer to this series, all you really need to know is you’re going to be hunting monsters of all shapes and sizes, carving them for materials, gathering minerals and other resources, and repeating this cycle in an endless loop to upgrade your weapons and gear. Rockstar Games Announces New Studio Acquisition As It Aims To Release GTA 6 In 2025

"The studio will be renamed Rockstar Australia". Rockstar Games, the team behind the legendary Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption franchises, has today announced its intention to acquire Video Games Deluxe — a Syndney-based game developer — as the studio aims to get GTA 6 out the door in 2025. Video Games Deluxe has previously worked with Rockstar on multiple L.A. Noire projects, and a recent overhaul to GTA: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition.
