Monster Hunter Wilds a Best-Seller in the UK as Series Continues Upwards Trajectory

Now an established seller in the West.

Monster Hunter Wilds was the best-selling physical title in the UK last week, as its PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC launch saw the franchise begin to replicate the success Capcom experienced with Monster Hunter World. The franchise's first proper breakout hit in the West, it seems Wilds is already on course to follow it up with more sales than ever — and that is not even accounting for digital purchases yet.

While these physical sales will account for how Monster Hunter Wilds performed in the UK on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, the PC version recorded some impressive numbers too. The game peaked on Steam over the weekend with 1.3 million concurrent players, which makes it one of the most popular launches on the PC platform ever.
